What devices can I use to display prayer times?▸
Any device with a web browser! Smart TVs, Amazon Fire Stick, Chromecast with Google TV, Raspberry Pi, old laptops, tablets, or any computer connected to a TV via HDMI.
Do I need to keep a computer connected?▸
No. The display runs entirely in the web browser. Once you open the URL on your TV or streaming stick, it runs independently. All updates are pushed automatically from the cloud.
What happens if the internet goes down?▸
PrayDisplay caches everything locally using service workers. If the internet drops, the display continues showing the last known prayer times. It will automatically reconnect when the internet returns.
Can I use both portrait and landscape TVs?▸
Yes! PrayDisplay automatically detects the screen orientation and serves the appropriate layout. You can even have multiple screens with different orientations in the same mosque.
How do I update prayer times for a new month?▸
If you uploaded a full year's CSV, it's automatic — PrayDisplay shows the correct times each day. For monthly uploads, just upload a new CSV when the month changes.
